Cooperation Agreement Signed between VDC and ITAtelecom
On 25-03-2010, in Hanoi, VDC and ITAtelecom officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement on mutual service providing, enabling support and use of each other’s services and products, particularly on telecommunications services, IT services and other value added services.
This cooperation agreement aims at utilizing efficiently both sides’ infrastructure, energy, strength and therefore saving cost of the implementation of projects and programs for production business of the two sides.
Present at the signing ceremony were Mr. Nghiem Phu Hoan (Deputy General Director of VNPT), Nguyen Manh Thang (Head of marketing and corporate users charges of VNPT, Nguyen Chau Son (Deputy Director of VNPT, Vu Hoang Lien (VDC Director), Mr. Hoang Minh Cuong (Deputy General Director of VDC), Mr Tran Viet Hung (Deputy Director of VDC), Mr. To Hoai Van ( Vice Chairman and Deputy General Director, CT-IN), Mr. Le Phuong (ITAtelecom Director), Mr. Nguyen Phi Bang (ITAtelecom Deputy General Director), together with representative leaders of units of the VDC and ITAtelecom ...
According to agreement, the two sides will cooperate in providing data communications services, Internet services, value added services (Hosting, VoIP ...) priority use of telecommunications services, media ads on the same basis to ensure quality and competitive prices. Other areas of cooperation will be further discussed on the basis of the content of this Agreement.
The partnership between a communications business and a state-owned enterprise providing infrastructure is a common trend in the world realising the Party’s and State’s programs in general and the Ministry of Information and Communications in particular. Accordingly, investment overlapping will be eliminated while utilize existing infrastructure of each other. Users will enjoy multi content with one service package with lower cost.
